About Vivid Motion Studios, Inc.
Vivid Motion was started in 2003 by Vivian Nikolich. The company was officially incorporated in 2004.
All of Vivid Motion Studios’ animated shorts are currently entirely created by Vivian Nikolich.
Vivid Motion’s first short was “Techno Penguin,” about a penguin who tries to fly. That is why there is a jetpack-equiped flying penguin in our logo.
About Vivian Nikolich
Vivian Nikolich is currently studying at the Academy of Art University. He has been doing animation since he was six, dabbling in the different mediums and styles, ranging from stop-motion animation to computer animation. His works have been inspired by classic animated films and characters, such as Gumby, Wallace & Gromit, and Toy Story. He made his first computer-animated short, Techno Penguin, while in 8th grade. The short won awards in the Berkeley Video and Film Festival, the San Francisco Film Festival, and the La Mancha Student Film Festival. He continues to create computer-animated films with imaginative and humorous stories.
